The Kiota I Ring belongs to the Liminality phase of The Initiate Collection, it is the suspended space between separation and incorporation.

In Swahili, Kiota means “nest.”

Inspired by African bird nesting structures, the Kiota ring is a reimagined and deconstructed version of this .

The Kiota I rings are crafted from soft, lead-free metals (Tin 95 %, Silver 5 % and Copper). They are nickle-free and suitable for daily wear. However due the mix metal nature of the rings they can lose their shine over time which can be restored with a polishing cloth (a complimentary one is included in the order).

It is designed to be light weight and worn alone or stacked to create a new design.

Each Kiota Ring is completely hand crafted from scratch and no moulds are used, this means that variations in texture and form are inherent to the process, ensuring no two pieces are identical.
